In the interest of quick references and organization, here's a master-list of my Star Trek fanfics and fanart for anyone who might feel inclined to sift through my stuff and see what they find. It's alphabetical, by category.

I should have made a sticky post with links to my fics and artwork ages ago.  So, here they are!  The art is currently posted on my Yahoo group, but I'll try to find an archive where I'd like to post it all, including NC-17 art.  I've got a few unfinished pieces that I'm going to try to finish and post soon, too, but for now, here's what there is.

I've got that EXACT shirt. I have a cut-out I've already made for an insignia-shaped stencil, and a temporary silver-grey spray. I have the boots. I have the grey dress slacks. And... this is MINE.

I am so amused.

I just wibbled. I never realized that Data's quote to Scotty in the TNG episode "Relics" was actually a quote back to Scotty in the TOS episode, "By Any Other Name," where Scotty identifies some liquor to an alien by saying, "Well it's umm...*sniff*... it's green."

Oh, wibbly.

Summary: Jim is negotiating with the leaders of a planet on behalf of the Federation. And some people are very close to their pets.
Notes: I'm turning my previous story, "And Other Duties As Assigned" into a series of short fics. I'm adding a subtitle to each one. Hopefully, they all turn out entertaining.

So, that fic I wrote the other day? The "And Other Duties As Assigned" story? I think I want to turn it into a series of short stories. I'm writing the second one now. I think it'll help me get my writing juices flowing again.

However... I'm open to brainstorming ideas. In fact, I'd really welcome brainstorming ideas right now.

Basically, I'm looking for situations for Jim that are technically "in the line of duty," but are so wacky, uncomfortable, twisted, trying, unnerving, difficult, awkward, or unexpected that it makes for a fun short story. If you've got an idea, post a comment! I might use it as presented, or modify it slightly, or take inspiration from it and run in a different direction. All suggestions welcome. The crazier the better. I'm generally aiming for non--ship stories, FYI, but bromance is completely acceptable.

(Note: In my universe, I really don't think Jim would have a problem wearing atypical or effeminate clothing for the amusement of some alien dignitary. I think it would take something far more edgy than that to make him uncomfortable. But heck... I could write it anyway for shits and giggles.)

Seriously, let's play "use the fanfic author." You want to see me write Jim into a seriously awkward situation? Here's your chance.

Notes: I'm not actually responsible for this. I wrote it on a dare. A very evil dare. But it might make you giggle, so I'm posting it.

PRIMARY: Got almost NO sleep last night. I think I fell asleep between 2:00 AM and 4:00 AM. My brain was racing and my whole body hurt. At least my bastard rheumatologist let me back on my meds, but it'll take a while for them to start working.

SECONDARY: Weird fucking dreams the past few nights. Last night - evil tribbles, a new Star Trek sentient species, weird fungus, teaching science to kids with Van de Graaf generator. The night before, epic mystery. The night before that, intense discussions with Zachary Quinto and Chris Pine. Yeah. Why wasn't Piney naked, eh?

TERTIARY: Writing. I'm writing bit by bit. I'm making some progress. However, RL things are keeping me from making as rapid progress as I was a few weeks ago, inluding:

QUATERNARY: My best friend from college arrived last Friday, and will be staying with us for approximately 2 months, with a gap in the middle of that time period. It had been ten years since I'd seen her, and we have a LOT of catching up to do. Ergo, I will be online even LESS than I thought when I made my previous AFK statement. Very little time to read f-list, to chat (even with beta-readers), or to read extra material.

QUINARY: I am taking a class for my church called "Excellence in Ritual" (EiR for short), which will qualify me to be a ritualist (ritual leader) for my Pagan Unitarian Universalist congregation. It has reading and homework and stuff. So, from the previous paragraph, yes, I'll have even less time than anticipated for this reason as well.

SENARY: Even though I have no time whatsoever, I am putting out a desperate request to all of my fandom friends who read Star Trek fanfic. When I finally have time again, I would love to do some READING. That's right - I like to read, not just write. But... I am desperate for some NON-AU. Yeah, I know there are some fantastic AU stories, but... I WANT STAR TREK. Stuff that's at least roughly canon-based. Not set in the current day (21st century) in a modern setting. Not set in the Victorian era. Not set on a pirate ship. Not set in the old west. CANON-BASED, PLZ. Remember, I write what I like. I hope I can find other people who write fics in the same general category of stories that I write. (I know everyone's style is different, but just the same general broad category.) If you know any of these, please send me links so I can save them and read them when life gives me a chance. If you do, I will love you forever.

SEPTENARY: Political - I really hope Rick Santorum gets the Republican nomination. Before you decide that I've lost my mind, here's why:
1. There's no way the Republicans will win.
2. The whole world will really see just how batshit insane the extreme right-wing religionists really are.
3. It'll be fucking hilarious to watch the debates.
4. Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert will have more material than they can handle, and it shall be glorious.
